Welcome to Seraphim Studio. My name is Julia Shanks. I have been an art educator for over 20 years. For most of those years I taught at Sacramento's most sought after independent school Sacramento Country Day. I retired a couple of years ago and am having a wonderful time building Seraphim Studio for all to enjoy. I have a BA in Fine Art and an active K - 12 California Teaching Credential. Sharing my love of art with children is one of the greatest joys of my life. I love watching their eyes light up and their imaginations ignite when a specific skill I'm sharing takes root. Seraphim Studio is located in my home and is situated on 5 acres of gorgeous oak trees. It is such an inspirational place for an artist to grow, and it is a privlidge to open the property as an artistic haven to all who would like to explore the world of art. Seraphim Studio offers classes to students 1st grade through adult. There are classes for homeschoolers, after schoolers, those who want private lessons, adult group and one on one classes, and even an option for families and parties.
